This weekend was kinda weird. Maybe cause of the whole blizzard thing on Friday followed by a hockey game with the Tool and his coworkers. Then drinking afterwards. I think I've come to that point in life where I realize that light drinking is the way for me. Long Island Ice Teas are in the past. I'm a one or two beer kind a girl. Hangovers do not make that happy drunken stupor worthwhile. I guess I'm growing older. Ugh.
Otherwise, my folks were in town. So that was a whirlwind experience. Twas good to see them. :) I am trying to convince them not to see Borat. They really want to and I am pretty sure that they won't like it. but then again, it would be amusing to hear their comments from after the show. My parents did like the Wedding Crashers but hated 40 yr old virgin. Who knows? Dinner was at Nadia's with the Tool and the folks. Their foie gras is simply fanatastic. Sigh...
Today was working and my second day at Brazilian drumming. I really like it even though it really hurts. Ears, arms, wrist (damn metal agogo) but its well worth it. Just wish it wasn't on Sunday night. Alas.
