Hey paisanos (or however the fuck you spell that)! Welcome to the Super Jabses Super Show!
Went on a bit of a scan binge on sunday and only just uploaded this crap to imageshack. This is just stuff out of my Barberry sketchbook and 99.9% of it is simply for my reference alone. These are raw scans, the sketches are totally rushed because they're done in cafes where I have none of my reference materials on hand so everything is just done out of my head and is decidedly not accurate. Still, I wanted to scan them to put a few in my portfolio. Contains story-boards for the intro animation, rough background sketches, and ideas on the game controls. Critiques/ideas welcomed.

And now for something that I think is much more fun than looking at my srsbzns work... YST! Actually, mostly just Shuu and Shin from back when Naru and I played in fandango. These scans are ancient and I just remembered they're the first things I put on imageshack. So! Nostalgia ho~ Let's go back to the good ol' days of Fandango...

okay, this is pretty fucking recent, but relevant. It has the troopers in it.
From left to right: Kayura (Soul Linker), Suzunagi (High Priestess), Nasuti (Acolyte) Jun (Novice), Shin (Biochemist/Creator), Shuu (Mastersmith/Whitesmith), Touma (Sniper), Ryo (Lord Knight), Runa (Thief), Seiji (Paladin).
Characters I only have the rough sketches for: Shuten (Monk/Champion), Naaza (Assassin Cross), Anubisu (Stalker), Rajura (Minstrel), Nadia (Gypsy), Mukara (Gunsmith)

5 I know that they're like, disembodied heads but this was my favourite one to do.
6 I'm actually more fond of the little doodle of Killer (Shadow Hearts III) and L (Deathnote) than I am of the Shin Shuu thing. :]

22 I think an explanation is in order for the... uh... nipple thing. You see in the episode of YST (I think the first of the second half) Ryo wakes up topless and life is good while Shuu in Shin are being homosexual in Nasuti's yard. Suddenly there's a shot of Ryo and his NIPPLES HAVE MYSTERIOUSLY VANISHED NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN. Naru and I came up with the theory that Seiji, secretly being a ninja, snuck in and stole them to feed to that beast on his head he calls hair.
Before you ask, yes, we were probably very drunk.
