After the hiatus from hell... \o/
Well. First of all I got sick and had no desire to be on the internet. Compulsive vomiting tends to make me want to avoid expensive electronics, especially when the warranty is up orz.
Then dad forgot to pay the internet bill, and there were issues with the first check and now, finally, we have internet again.
So what did I do while I was away from internet land? I drew. I drew like mad. My Barberry sketchbook went from a quarter full to more than 3/4s full. I also did some sketching on the computer when I felt better.
It was actually a much needed break from the internet. I could work without the distraction of various MMOs and Discedo, and my creativity has been through the roof. I've had so many ideas for plot twists and puzzles in Barberry that my writing hasn't been able to keep up with my brain.
Still, I miss Discedo, and after work, I'm going to call a 2 month hiatus from Guild Wars and RO so I can focus on my art, RP and the Neverending Jobhunt (it's like the Neverending Story without the dead horses and Luck Dragons)
I'm also extremely excited about some collaborative work I'll be doing with Rose (a lady I used to work for as a face painter). She's gone from dressing up as a clown at parties to dressing up as a fairy which seems to be getting a lot better reception than her clown stuff, and she wants me to posters and book illustrations for her. She's also going to be working at Ren fairs during the autumn which means I'm going to have something to take the place of working at the elephant's trunk come October.
Good news all around: I'm not sick anymore, I have internet, I've been doing art, I have more work, I have a shitton of things to post when I get back to the Disco, and oh yeah...

Map of Barberry Village -Still rough, not coloured and definitely not complete, it's still a good way for me to see what's what on paper (well, screen) as opposed to just in my head.
Drawing of Rosemary -Something I'd be using for the website layout. I have a rough idea on how I want it to look but nothing concrete yet.
Barberry Illustration -Just a drawing I wanted to do. Rosemary peeking out from behind a tree with Anise's hand hanging down. I love using autumn colours. I always find my work looks more rich and vivid when I use golds and greens.
Okay! Off to work and then internet playtiems when I get home!

Also, Jessie came over the other day and showed me a game she downloaded called "The Path". Go here. Buy it. Download it. Play it. It will be the best ten dollars you ever spent.
