NEW YORK PICTURES!!!
]
Well....first the guys came to Montreal. That's Nicolay.....in our apartment...........with a cigarette in his mouth. He likes to experiment with soft drugs.....
]
We took walk from my apartment to McGill, and on the way, we found a memorial to someone who had died in a car crash.
]
For some stupid reason, we snuck into a classroom at McGill and fucked around with geography. Note that Dr. Grose SUCKS.
]
Look! Now we're on a train. Those were the annoying lovers across from us who kicked Nick out of his seat. I hate lovers, usually.
FINALLY, WE GOT TO *NEW YORK*:
]
Yeah, spectacular (youth hostel).
]
That's more like it. I include this picture because it has Macy's AND the Empire State Building. We were mere blocks away from both.
]
Macy's still has its original wooden escalators. The first in the world, or something?? It's for things that this that I love New York.
]
]
Guess where from? The historical and darned expensive Empire State Building!
]
The first thing we saw when we went to Times Square...... I'm biting my nails because they're going to recruit me and I'm scared.
]
THERE it is. Instead of a boring picture of the coke ad, I decided to show you the Broadway ads.
]
]
Starbucks.
]
]
Metropolitain Museum of Art. For all the content....I find it kind of boring. These are the two pictures I liked best. Probably because the subjects both seem alive.
]
Independant film-shooting in Central Park?
]
Drug store on Fifth Ave. It's all water..... WATER!
]
A blessing and a curse. You won't see Wicked on those boards, but they sure as hell have (had) Sweeney Todd every day for 50% off without fail!
]
PIgeon in a park in lower Manhattan.
]
Contact?
]
Hilo.
]
Dylan span.
]
Mary Poppins.
]
Near the stock exchange. An endless source of joy.
]
Stock Exchange.
]
Yep.
]
Ground Zero.
]
Patti Lupone....no really.....Sweeney Todd was incredible, in any case. Such a treat to see the lady herself, singing her heart out.
]
Near the hostel.
]
Radio City Music Hall!!!!
]
Temporary art installation in front of the Lincoln Center. Place-des-Arts is better-looking.
]
The library at the Lincoln Center. WHY so many Anyone Can Whistles and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forums!!!? They're his WORST shows.... I guess cause the good ones were taken out, yeah?
]
]
]
]
]
]
The Bronx Zoo. A rather looong Subway ride up. I was delighted when the subway became a superway and we could see the world around us.
]
Our last night there we walked the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn to New York. Beaaautiful.
]
Patti's is on top. Michael Cerveris' (Sweeney Todd's) is on the bottom.
]
Bethesda fountain, which we only saw at night... I can't wait to go back and see it in the day.
After that we took the train back to Montreal. We watched Angels in America before they left. :)
INCREDIBLE TRIP!
