Dumbledore.

Excuse me if I'm unclear, and for my grammar mistakes, or if I seem narrow-minded.

Okie, so it's now all over the world isn't it?
Albus Dumbledore is gay.
Yeah, I couldn't stop myself from mentioning this because A.) HP is totally my fandom and it keeps me sane from all the depressions I have these days, B.)I thought it was wonderful, and C.) I was shocked at how some people reacted.
Forget the first reason. I won't be able to stop myself from going on and on about it.
The second reason, yes. I thought it was wonderful. I mean, the whole series did mention that people shouldn't judge others from their looks, family, blood, what they are, etc, right? But I was kinda pissed at how the universe was made somewhat 'perfect' with almost everyone matching up with who they are 'perfect' with. You know, with the boys and the girls? (Except for the part that I've always thought that Neville had a crush on Harry and that Seamus and James swings both ways, etc.,etc., but that's different 'cause then, there'll be all the slash stuff) I felt a bit weird, because it was as if I was told, 'Hey, MM, FMFM is wrong you slashers'. But then, hey, there you go.
You should never judge people because of their sex and gender. It's prejudice, it's dirty, and it's wrong. I'm saying this not only because I like to slash things up *snorts*, but I'm bisexual. *gasp* Love is about adoring others for their characteristics and personality, who they are. Sure, bodies are damn important and I'm not going to argue with that becuase I think so too, but the mains aren't (please excuse me for this) the cocks and the cunts. There should be nothing wrong about 'love', one way or another.
See, I was really shocked to see how some fangirls of Japan reacted towards the news. Most of the comments I saw were saying that it's 'disgusting', '(he's) too old', and 'totally not their turn-ons'. Oh, right. And they're supposed to be liking the novel series. *rolls eyes* Some says that Japan is more friendly towards homosexuals (in particular) because of all the yaoi/BL/shonen-ai/whatever-else-you-want-to-call-them mangas, but its readers can be as homophobic as any other. In most of the fangirls mind (I won't say all), the boys/men are beautiful, slender, bodies that are hairless, and ageless (now that I write this, they don't sound human). Hell, some are not even considered gay (or bi). You hardly see the characters thinking about their sexuality throughout the mangas. Well, there might be, for a page or two, but in the next box, he's kissing the other one already. Oh, and they never use condoms. Nor lubes (it gets funnier. Some mangas even goes right into the fucking part without spreading. Ouch.). All the guys are seperated either as Seme or Uke. Uke can hardly (or never) be aggressive at sex, and has to be blushing and shaking their heads to the pleasure. The Seme aren't supposed to moan much.
...Really. Most of these mangas are fantasies, more fantasy-like than HP, with some not liking it if the written materials are 'too realstic'.
That's why I'm really proud for JKR. It made the whole story more realistic. Everything isn't and can't be 'normal' and 'perfect', and things shouldn't be put that way into categories. Why should be gay be put wrong? I wish someday, people would understand. I wish that all the prejudice will be gone from our world. To be treated equally, dispite 'what-we-are'.
...Wow. I wonder how man words I wrote. I feel like I can write a whole essay about this, and I mustn't be the only one.
