This is the icon I go to when I feel empathy/sadness/support for someone. I love Calvin and Hobbes and I think the image is sweet without being TOO sweet.

I used to have a Robin Hood: Men In Tights *wibble* icon for the purposes of begging and pleading... lol... then I saw this scene in one of the Shrek movies and KNEW it was purrrfect for the job.

My absolute favorite Narnia character is Aslan. I grew up with those books and have read them dozens of times each. Lucy's innocence and steadfast belief in the other world--despite her brother's teasing--made me love her first. It was a toss-up for awhile, when I first started RPing, who I'd "play" and she was in the top three. :)

This is... hmmm... it's another icon of choice when I'm feeling sad or empathetic ("blue"), but the twist is hope. I love butterflies and I think they symbolize hope and life and wishfulness. Oh, and magic. :) It's me trying to be all of those (hopeful, wishful, magical/life-loving) plus serious, I guess.

And this is Winifred; Hrothbert, Lord of Bainbridge's eternal, passionate, willful lady love (Bob, t.v. version of The Dresden Files book series). It's made from an image of Catherine Zeta-Jones and has a sort of ethereal quality that I really liked. Also, she's a Welsh actress--I picked Wales as the origin for Winifred's backstory--and in certain pictures she looks just like how I think she should. (It's all a matter of opinion, of course.)
