Trolololol
I'm finally going to be real productive this time! Leaving Manila for Kyoto in 7 hours. I'll be gone for the next 12 days or so. May 16-21 is allotted for IFSA's ARM 2011 (which I'm pretty anxious about, cause we're representing not only the university, but The Philippines as well gaah, and I feel like I'm not that fit to be a rep or something), then I'll be on my own in Osaka from the 22nd till the 26th. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, but I've always wanted to explore a foreign place on my own, and I think it's very lucky that of all the places in the world, it had to be Japan. As Mark would put it, How many 19 year old Filipinos could go to Osaka! --well, right on!
I originally intended to go to Osaka then go to Tokyo, and from there, fly to Manila, but my dad didn't allow me to do so, saying it's too far and that I'll be myself with no supervision, and that I don't speak Japanese, or that I'll drink too much sake(but I never really liked sake, so..) or eat too much sushi and sashimi without them, you know, usual stuff your parents worry about. So I didn't argue with that anymore, cause the parentals might just send me home right after the conference. haha. Besides, I could just return to Japan and go to Tokyo in the future with my family, or friends! yay!
I hope to make the most out of this trip and make it back here ALIVE. I feel like this is one great, big photographic journey for me, I'm too excited to capture everything, really. With the addition of the actionsampler in my hands, I'm really excited! Packed 4 rolls of film with me. And also, I'll have to get used with not having prime lens though, it's going to be a challenge!
Posting this on my LJ because it's about time to finally put some fun things here! I really enjoyed doing the entry previous to this one. And besides, I don't really want tumblr to be all over my thoughts, it's too crowded there to write about what I contemplate. I still think and feel this is a safe zone for me, despite what happened earlier this year. See you when I get back, friends! You'll miss me! HAHA Let's go see a movie and go to photowalks?
And yeah, just booked my flight back to Manila, so no TNT for me then. Out of topic: I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW GAME OF THRONES EPISODE!!!
