Some final personal thoughts
The one thing I hate to hear more than anything else is:
"At least I can say I tried."
To me, that's like you're trying to convince yourself you're not lazy.
Because you and I both know that people who are lazy will continue to be lazy or apathetic, whichever.
People who make the effort would have made the effort ANYWAY because that's what defines them as who they truly are.
It's very platitudinal of you to shrug off the responsibility of failure.
YOU FAILED. Cope with that through realism, not team spirit.
Now, try not to take on things bigger than you in the future. Be smart about it.
