My Next Step In Life
Everyone always says that college is the next big step in your life. Now I can truly understand what that really means.
I've only been at MSU for a few days, but I can already tell that this is indeed a huge step in my life, on so many levels. From living on your own, to having total freedom, to meeting hundreds of new people everyday, this whole college experience thing is pretty groovy.
One thing that is making college more than great so far is running. After my cross country camp, I can tell that being a part of MSU's athletics is going to be awesome. Everyone on the team is great, the coaches are great, everything is so cool. I guess running has been going really well, because at camp I was told I'm going to be traveling with the team. And today I got told that my financial aid is being bumped up. Let's hope this trend continues.
The dorm life is great as well. You really have an appreciation for where you live when you're a big part in setting it up and keeping it running. I can definitely see myself living in my dorm for this year and being completely content with it.
I'm not even thinking of the whole academic aspect of college yet, so let's hope it won't lessen the coolness of this setup too much.
