I have discovered the folly of Shrek the Third. Its soundtrack SUCKS IT! Well, their folly was more just not including the songs as much in the movie. I mean, the only songs I can recall from the movie are that terrible Led Zeplin Immigrant Song and Donkey singing Cats in the Cradle- another song I hate. I mean the music was such a big part of the first 2 movies. I can still sing you "Welcome to Duloc" and Shrek introduced me to my favorite song "You Belong to Me" and introduced me to lovely groups such as The Eels and The Proclaimers, and anybody within 15 feet of my car after Shrek 2 was released was subjected to Funkytown! And what does Shrek the Third give us? Shit, that's what. I mean maybe I am too much of a kid but I'm pretty sure the only singers kids are going to know on the album are the movie characters and Macy Gray and no one even likes her! Ok, maybe I'm exagerrating and kids will know more of the singers, but the soundtrack still sucks big time. Anyway, sorry about the rant. It's late and I am procrastinating as usual and I just happened upon this revelation. Thanks for listening!
P.S. Pirates: At World's End, on the other hand, is smashing.
