First Entry of the Year

I've been wanting a Live Journal account for so long, and I finally have one! This makes me very happy. I've tried using blogger software on my server, but I think it's so much cooler and better to just use a Live Journal account, since they have more features and intergration with people in the Live Journal network.

In any case, it's about freaking time. I've been trying to think up of a good username for forever.

So, to kick things off, I want to give a big FUCK YOU out there to the Live Journal users who took the usernames Hyperguy, HyperViper, and Takayuki. The check's in the mail, bitches. If I see you walking down my e-street, I will trip you, and judo punch you into next week's internet. Maybe I should congratulate you for having such good taste in usernames, but whatever, go fuck yourself.

In other news, my main site, Hyperguy.net, is going to be experiencing three weeks of downtime on account of miscommunication between my hosting company and their ISP. On the plus side, I'll be getting a free year of hosting if everything irons out well. I honestly don't know what to think. My hosting company has been around for less than a year and the common convention as far as hosting companies go is that most that offer yearly hosting come into being and die within a couple of months. In any case, I'm not too bummed out about it considering that I only payed $30 for a year of hosting with 1.5 GB storage, that, and I have a backup server just in case things don't pan out, so the most I can do now is wait.
