the deschanel: i like drinking wine in my pajamas
All summer I've been reading scripts in hopes of finding the right project. I've auditioned for a few things but I'm still not working. I’m probably way too picky but I don’t want to be tied to something I don’t really want to do just to work. Sometimes I worry that I won’t work again but maybe I’m just being paranoid.
It seems like a lot of people are closing their journals, or going on breaks and possibly closing their journals. One I will miss especially a lot and if he’s reading this he knows who he is. He was one of the first people who was friendly to me here and it isn’t going to be the same without him. Tomorrow is his birthday and even though he may be gone I wanted to let him know I didn’t forget. So, Happy Birthday Jett, wherever you are. I’m going to miss you way beyond today.
I went to London for a few days with Michael. We always seem to have a good time there and this was no exception. He loves the pubs and we both got really drunk and from what I can remember we went shopping for a dress. Don’t ask. Some things are probably better left out of updates.
He does look lovely in a black slip though and if you missed him in that movie he’s tired of promoting it will be out on DVD soon along with Lords of Dogtown which is out at the end of the month. Everyone better buy it or at least rent it when it comes out. There is no excuse. I’m so threatening. Speaking of movies, can someone recommend a good one for me to see? I seem to have a lot of time on my hands these days but I’m not complaining. The truth is I’ve never been happier in my life or maybe I’m just a slacker at heart.
