"Screw chicks tonight!"

Of course, having a PS2 and all, I had to finally go out and get DDR. Ended up getting DDR Extreme bundled with a Konami pad. So far, the pad's been working far better than any other soft pad I've played on. It still slips a bit, but far less than other pads I've used. You can't play barefoot though, the surface has a weird texture that sticks to your feet alot. I figure that now would be a good time to get a job, so that I can get a nice metal pad of some sorts. It's been so long since I've played on a pad, and already I'm up to higher-end standard songs and a few heavy songs (mainly 7 foot of course, I'm not a dancing Jesus). I don't see myself making much more improvement until I get a metal pad.

I'm worried that the PS2 controller adapter I have for my computer may have a very slight delay to it. It was much harder playing DDR on it than it was on the PS2. Maybe it's just the leniency in the grading is set different. Something I'll look into.

Another of the three games for the PS2 is Katamari Damacy. Fun as hell, and the soundtrack rocks my face in a different sort of way. I think I'm already 2/3 of the way through it, though, but I see myself going back to get higher scores or catch any items that I missed.

Third game was Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. It has robots, explosions, multiplayer deathmatches, and was less than $10. I couldn't really pass on a deal like that.

I got me an S-video cable for my Nintendo systems, and I can't go back to AV cables now. Everything is so much clearer now, it's amazing. I'll have to pick some up for the PS2 as well.

I have even more RF adapters and cables now. Earlier on I thought I could just hold onto them as some sort of stupid backup, but now I have six RF adapters I'll probably never need anymore (besides, thanks to that S-video cable I have extra AV connections too!). I'm hoping to phase out the RF connections completely by the end of the summer (except for cable TV, of course), and all I really have left is the Genesis, which is a touchy matter due to the different models with different pros, cons, etc. I'll think of something. But yeah, anyone that needs an old RF connector, let me know.

I'll also think of a way to get back to work on Castlevania. Maybe getting the PS2 Castlevania game will help inspire me?
