Stupid Parties and Drunk Drivers
So...the party. Was even worse than I expected. I picked up my friend Megan and we went together. We saw Amanda walk upstairs and Megan had a smoke, by the time we got inside I saw Amanda put down this pipe/bong thing (I don't know what it's called). There was only like 10 people there tops. Megan got drunk right away and everyone else was taking shots. Then some of them started using the pipe/bong thing and Megan and I went outside. I wasn't going to get high because it was dumb. We went back inside after like 10 minutes and luckely they were done. Amanda sat next to me and started talking and telling my how Erin had gotten drunk and had sex. I told her I would know if my sister did that, then Amanda swore my out friendship that it was true. That ticked me off so bad. Megan and I got there at like 8:30 and left at like 10:00.
Megan was drunk and it was pretty funny walking with her out to my car. She kept sitting down, stumbling, and then talking to people in a way to friendly way. Her bf Max met up outside of Big 5 and took her where ever.
Then at like 11:45 Megan called me and I ignored it 3 times thinking that it was just another drunk phone call. The third time she left a voice-mail and all I could understand from herr crying was ambulance. So I called her back...and it turns out that they went to pick up her bff Andrew and on the way back a drunk driver hit Megan's side of the car. Max and Andrew where hurt and had to be taken by ambulance. Megan was waiting for her mom to get her but didn't go with Max or Andrew because she was drunk and didn't want to get in trouble.
I felt terrible and all I could thin about where the times when Megan used to tell me that she drove drunk or high when she used to do drugs. Or when Amanda has told me recently the times she's driven drunk. I texted her and told her to be careful...not that she would listen. She's probably getting more high and more drunk right now.
Some people are so stupid. And they wonder why I wont do it.
