even knowledge that’s sound can get watered down. truth can get sucked out the car window.

lately, i've been trying really hard to be an ecoholic.

it's been months since i borrowed that book from tara, then bought myself a copy to have as regular reference material. if you don't have it, i highly recommend you buy it/borrow it from a friend or your local library. chris and i have been making changes to the way we live in an attempt to be more eco-friendly and live a little bit greener lifestyle.

nurturing my inner green has also been nurturing my inner do-it-yourselfer. i've always been crafty, and now my inner DIYer is taking on a greener focus. in some ways, nurturing my inner green has also been nurturing my wallet. sometimes those eco-friendly choices are more expensive. but often times, the eco-friendly choice that involves a bit of your own elbow grease is much much cheaper.

so, for the next little while, i'm going to take this blog in a bit of a different direction. i'll be using it to challenge myself to be a greener DIYer, and to challenge my readers to make some greener changes to their own lives.
