(no subject)
short version of the story:
i have no heat. and no hot water. when i get home tonight, both should be fixed (crosses fingers).
long version of the story:
today, 11:00am - i go to have a shower and discover that i have no hot water. at the same time, the nice man from NS fuels knocks on my door to ask how he gets to the boiler room. i give him the key, and continue my confused trials with the shower, to no avail.
realizing, that he is perhaps here about this lack of hot water - i wait for NS fuels man to return to my door. he explains that my hot water heater has sprung a hole, and that my storage room is covered in approximately 2 inches of water.
11:15am - no hot water, and needing to be at school by 11:30. i now also need to move everything out of storage to avoid further water damage, and to allow soctia fuels man to get in and replace water tank and also replace the furnace (which has sat in 2 inches of water overnight, and is also broken). everything i had in storage is moved to inside my teeny bachelor apartment, and there is barely room to move. water and dust and basement guck are tracked all over my floor.
theoretically, these problems will be solved when i get home today. and chris and i will crack open a bottle of wine, crank some music, and clean my apartment from top to bottom. theoretically. here's hoping.
