So I'm sitting at my desk right now. I'm so unbelievably tired, and cannot possibly submit myself to further slave labor for the plantation owner that is corporate America. Most days I'm ok with this job. Everyone's friendly, and it pays, but I'm getting a little sick of it. I definitely could not work in an office for the rest of my life.
On a much happier note, I'm also completely blissed right now. This weekend was an incredible high of friends, love, and hippies. Not only did I see Seth and Daisy a total of four times (twice in a woodland setting); but I participated in wild firelight dancing to the beat of 50 drums; was part of a human peace sign (along with 211 hippies including a man naked but for a scarf around his neck); was a polliwog; fought lake Michigan (and won); danced to Irish, African, and Salsa music; performed an international peace dance; ate greek, thai, mexican, and polish foods; sang in a moonlit field; was offered pot (twice); played catch with a baguette; drank amazing chai; saw a hookah; experienced 100 hippies doing a downward facing dog; amassed an army of new and interesting people for my team; saw a rainbow; stopped at the bridge and experienced the remnants of a beautiful sunset; and most of all- got to hang out with greg, kalen, sarah, jess, and jess(at least until the sickie went home---hope you're feeling better. I love juice.)
Thank you God and friends for an amazing weekend. Happy Bliss.
Until next year, when I shall return to my escapist utopia :)
