Top Five Jared Padalecki Characters
Jared Padalecki has played a wide variety of characters in his early career. Each character has a different feel, a different personality, and each character is completely different then the next. That is what makes a good actor. I never feel like I am watching Jared Padalecki, I feel like I am watching someone else. These are my top five favorite Jared characters; they all got picked for different reasons. They are strong, smart, funny, sexy, and bad ass. There is no doubt these larger than life characters would be nothing without Jared. So, here are my top five.
5. Tom (Cry Wolf)
Tom is awesome for many different reasons. Not only is he very funny and full of himself. He is very intelligent and cunning. What’s not to love about him? Plus it was fun to watch Jared play a sexed up horny school boy, who constantly talks about masturbation and touching himself in class. Now that’s hot! This was my first time ever seeing Jared Padalecki, and I am very fickle when it comes to liking actors. So he did something right. Tom did a good job gaining suspicion on him from the audience, but also gaining our trust. He was the perfect character to round out the other two leads. Tom reminds me a lot about myself, aside from being horny school boys, I would like to think we are both smart and are able to use our brains. This is why Tom is my number five.
4. Thomas (Christmas Cottage)
Thomas was based off of a real person, but Jared really brought something amazing to this character. Thomas was the most caring person I have ever seen in a movie. People might call it sappy, but I call them heartless douche bags. I really got emotionally attached to Thomas and its all thanks to Jared. I really liked how he interacted with Glen; I have respect for people who spend time with the elderly and care for them. Plus he is an artist, and that is kind of hot… Well, Jared being an artist anyway haha. I don’t know how the next actor to play Thomas is going to do, but he has some pretty big shoes to fill! Thomas would stop at nothing in order to save his house for his mother, he put his family first, and himself second. Even if that meant losing a few things in the process. I know a few things about sacrifice for family, so that is why Thomas is number four.
3. Samuel Winchester (Supernatural)
That’s right, Sam isn’t automatically number one on my list like he is on a lot of peoples. Sure, I love Sam Winchester, especially in season one. But, at no fault to his own, the writers of the show dropped the ball with him. He doesn’t really have the same exploration and in depth look that a main character really needs to hold a show. Yes, I still love him. Yes, I still watch the show just for him and Jared. Yes, I still think he is great. Sam Winchester is an amazing character. He is strong willed. He knows what he wants and we have seen him grow into a kind of man who will take it. Plus he has some pretty kick ass powers. Plus, have you guys seen the way he has sex? It’s fucking hot! Sam always just devours them! And fucks them hard! He doesn’t play around in the bedroom. I wonder how much of Jared is in that? OK, that’s too hot to even think about. Anyway, Sam inspires me for being the little brother who is mature, caring, and finally deciding to reach for what he wants. That is why he is my number three pick.
2. Dean Forester (Gilmore Girls)
I have never had a boyfriend, but if I did have one, I would totally want one HALF as good as Dean Forester. Dean treated Whory like royalty, and she shit on him in return. The whole storyline is very upsetting to me. But through it all, Dean never gave up his demeanor, nor did he give up his dignity. He kept his class and style until the very end when he finally kicked that bitch to the curb. Dean is amazing and I aspire to be like him in my relationships, and treat my girlfriends the way he treated his. That is why he is my number two.
1. Clay Miller (Friday the 13th)
Wow, just saying Clay Miller makes me excited! He is by far the badest, coolest, sexiest, hottest Jared character EVER! I mean what is not to love about him? He rides a motorcycle; he is clever and knows a lot about survival; as well as kicking some major ass! He is very devoted to his family. He is hard, caring, stern, bossy, and gentle all rolled into one. He knows how to show off his hot body, with his heaving chest and his bulging arms, and his ass! Not to mention his hair! He is the type of guy who would do you hard, and then snuggle. Clay is the perfect dude. If I could make one Jared character a real person, and marry them, it would be Clay Miller! There really doesn’t need much explaining, he pretty much does it himself. He is just the number one!
Jared’s characters are always so aspiring to me! I want to be like them, and I think they are good role models. However, they don’t even compare to my real role model in life; the person who brought the characters themselves to life, Jared Padalecki.
