Yesterday I got to know that my frined's mother passed away. SHe was probably not even into her 40's yet. I haven't talked to this friend of mine for about a year since he came back to Japan a year before I did, but I'd better go to the funeral ceremony... it must be really tough to lose a parent when he is still in his teen - and he has two younger siblings, one of whom is just a second grader. Gosh, life is unfair. Why do some people have to suffer so much more than others do? I don't think his family deserves this.
