OMG! MY FINGER!
So I’m working on my set design in Amanda’s room, and she’s working on hers, and I hear Amanda shout “OH MY GOD! MY FINGER!” I look over to see blood GUSHING from her finger as she drops a bloody X-acto knife! I’m like FREAKING OUT because blood is SPEWING EVERYWHERE and her fingernail is like completely CUT IN HALF! SO thinking student health has like an emergency room or something, I rush her to student health, but it’s closed. So I drive ACROSS TOWN to the hospital, but all we can find is the birthing unit, we can’t find the emergency room! By this point, Amanda’s calm (probably because of the loss of blood) and I’m still like FREAKING OUT! I’m desperate to find the emergency room and keep driving around frantically, I almost get into like ten car accidents, I drive through the biggest pot hole I’ve EVER seen, and I run a few red lights. Amanda was SO over it and was like, “take me to the store.” So I asked “Are you SURE!?” like 500 times and then rush her to Longs where we purchase medical supplies and Dr. John bandages her up.
Meanwhile it was like 12:00 by the time we got back to Amanda’s and we still had BARELY started our sets… Needless to say, it was a LATE NIGHT!
That was SO SCARY yet THOROUGHLY EXCITING!
I’m tired.
