The show must go on

Have you ever thought, as a member of the audience, that while the actor is singing, dancing, and making you happy, he actually could be dying inside? …That behind that smile could be hundreds of tears? Perhaps that’s why I act, to experience a happiness that only exists in the world of the play. But lately it seems that my whole life is an act… so those notes, those steps, and those smiles just drain me.

Well…I’m off to the theater.
