So I'm home. Finally. I can say that it is very nice to be home, sleeping in your own bed, showering in your own shower, doing your own thing. Vacations are nice, but that feeling of coming home is always so great.
I have absolutely no complaints though. I have been gone for the best 4 weeks ever. Italy was the most amazing trip--all the things we saw were just so unreal. I would have to be crazy if I said I didn't enjoy myself. Up North is always the best break ever. The people I see everyday are practically family. "I just introduce Krin as my cousin...it's so much easier...and it's hardly a lie!" Despite the bad weather in the begining...and the lack of kids in the end--it was an awesome vacation as always. Full of laughs, frightening sail boat rides on the roughest days, much laying out, relaxing, to much eating and ending the weeks with an amazingly written song suming up everything that has happened in the past 10-14 days.
I haven't been very productive since I have been home, but I have been enjoying myself- as one should during the summer. I've seen people I haven't seen in a while--people I have been missing. Lately I've been helping Miss Ruth move into her new apartment. It acutally has been a lot of fun. We've scrubbed walls, packed up boxes, and moved the boxes, unloaded the boxes, and finally motivating Reba into unpacking! (I got some new clothes out of the deal). The place is really starting to look like her and I've enjoyed going and helping her all she needs. I got to meet with Laura also. Which was really nice...we had dinner and talked about our trips. It's always nice to catch up with her!
Last night I went to the Tigers game with Caitlin, Mary, Lauren, Jeff, David, Joe and Chris. It was a lot of fun. I haven't hung out with those girls in a really really really long time. Lauren especially. I've missed them and missed how much random fun we have together. We all want to go on SB together. That would just be nuts because we know we would have fun togther no matter what. Now the trick is talking the parentals into letting me go! Good Luck. The night before that I went to Emily's--she was having another Luau. I got to see a lot of people (including my roommates!! Kell and Jenn...I've missed those girls too). I saw everyone, Liah, Joe, Amy, Janell, Erin, Shane, Eric, Gina, Mario, Tommy, Betz, Dee...man there were lots of people there. It was nice! Got eaten by Misquotos though...no fun! The night before that (I'm going backwords here!!) I went to go see Dodgeball with Erin, Ashley, and Justin. That was a lot of fun. That movie was soo funny...I wanted to see it so bad, because up north Mike and Danny were constantly quoting it so that was exciting. I saw Ashley's senior pictures (which look really good!) and I saw Erin in a dress...yes that's right people...a dress! Fun stuff...I always enjoy the company of those three! :-) Tonight/Today I slept in until 12:30, so that was very nice. Then I just relaxed and showered and headed over to Josh's because Jon told me to (so I did). OOO!! MY NEW FIELD HOCKEY STICK CAME!!! It's soo sweet!!!! Then headed back to Reba's for more sorting and purging and organizing! Much was accomplished today! I headed off to Campaingers. I've missed YoungLife--so I'm happy about summer Bible Studies. yay! Then, because Lauren and I had nothing to do...I went to her house and we had a bon fire...just us and chilled and had fun. I've really missed her so it was really nice to just be able to sit around with her and hang out. I love her company.
Well--that pretty much sums up what I have been up to in a while. I will try to update more often...I will be heading to State, for Field Hockey camp on Sunday-Thursday so yeah...
