This city is awesome!

I am freaking out right now though because I was so proud of myself for getting a stage managing job within the first couple of weeks of living here.  Long story short, I've been hired by the Crown Point Festival to ASM until the middle of November.  Very low pay, but good networking, right?  Rehearsals start this week and it's ( Read more... )

I've hit that stage in my life where I am relatively happy.  I am in love with my wonderful husband, and I work in the theatre with a steady salary.  But at my current job, there are things I can't stand, and things that I love.  As technical director, I have a LOT of responsibility, which is something that I usually THRIVE on.  Yet, I do not like ( Read more... )

Since being promoted to technical director at the Palace, my job has become all-consuming.  But right now we are in our final performance week of Singing' in the Rain.  It came out great...it was an exhausting tech week.  And making it rain,..that was the easy part.  It's nuts.  Still, it's a fun job for the most part and I don't dread going to ( Read more... )

Just thought I'd share my big news.

Well, the weather is absolutely gross today.  Sleet/ rain that freezes immediately upon impact.  So the roads are really bad.  Therefore, we cancelled Honk rehearsal today and I have stayed home and plan to get  some household chores that have been put on the back burner done.  Plus, I thought I had time for an update!
