The President is coming!
Well, Mr. President arrived on campus this morning, took over the parking lot where I usually park. Most classes were cancelled for today, and the one's that weren't, well I didn't go to them. Unfortunately we still had a few assignments due.
There are protestors outside my dorm, looking stupid with their small numbers and not moving. It's the biggest thing to happen on this campus thus far and I'm sitting in my room writing about it. Oh, well, only a few people got tickets to go see him speak and the rest of us can go watch it in a building across from where he actually is. It would have been nice to say that I shook his hand, but whatever, it's no big loss.
Funny thing is, some professors refused to step foot on this campus while Bush was here. That is retarded, I think, but it's a free country, right? ANYWAYS, while everyone will be watching Mr. President, I have some official duties of my own to take care of. I am prop girl!!! HAHA, well I have a meeting at 2 and then who knows what, maybe a little sleep. There is talk of going to the gym...hmmmm, maybe...
