I've been meaning to write something here for a very long time but, like most people, i just dont have the time.
Life is 3 steps away from perfection,
I finally quit my silly woolworths job for a much better one at a child care place, I am officially one week into being a Preschool Assistant, or as the children call me 'teacher'. I absolutly love it there and next year I'll be doing study through the centre to get my cert 3 and so forth.
I am still with my beautiful girl Sarah, heading steadily into our 9th month together, like any couple we have our fights but can always solve things at the end of the day.
The icing on my life-filled cake will be this afternoon, we are heading out Downer way to re look at an apartment then sign our lives away as tennants. I'm so excited, its taken 4 months for someone to even consider us and by the end of today the place could be ours!! Its a lovely not so small flat perfect location for Sarahs work, less perfect for mine but only 30 mins or so to woden so I'll survive.
Sarah has recently become a supervisor at woolworths and while it is rather stressful I think she enjoys the challange rather then just doing checkouts. (seriously though, checkouts was the most brainless job i've ever had, and i've had a lot of bad jobs!)

My birthday last week was lovely, nothing too big. Sarah took me out to a fancy hotel, cooked me dinner we drank too many bottles of wine/champagne then we lived it up at the casino, well as much as we could, its bloody small.
The next night we had dinner with the family at home and played trivial persuit, and again with the lots of wine.
I got lots of beautiful clothes from Sarah, and two large potted herb gardens/strawberry patches from my parents (perfect for our new place) and a gift voucher to Vintage Cellars from Anton, he does know the way to my heart.

Next month we're heading up to brisbane for Sarahs 19th, I'm pretty sure it will be a week of sunshine and alcohol, no complaints here.

I am off now for a drink with my dad and then excitedly visiting our new place.
