and have lost, or no longer affiliate, with a religion. I would add the significant scientific advancements to the list of reasons this trend has been growing at a faster rate recently. Even as an atheist, I find this kind of an anti-climatic observation (since infidels don't get together every weekend to talk about our lack of faith, or congratulate ourselves on conversion rates, etc), but I am proud more individuals are becoming more comfortable and willing to say "no thanks."
