so the fall out boy show was absolute heaven, obviously.
seeing them back where it all started makes my world expode.
nfg was pretty good. they always put on a good show and they're just solid dudes.
a permanent me and the early november were okay, but i didn't know any of a permanent me and only a little of the early november.
but fall out boy came out and everyone freaked. they played an awesome show that had a short intermission where warchief (charlie) came out and talked to us for a second. charlie's such an awesome dude. they played only two new songs. 'This Ain't A Scene, It's A Goddamn Arms Race' and, my new personal favorite, 'Thriller'. Seriously you guys, i'm gonna post the link to DL this song, listen to it. it's beautiful and the chorus is something i wish i had written about myself. i love it i love it i love it.
"LONG LIVE THE CAR CRASH HEART/
LIE ON THE COUCH TIL THE POETS COME TO LIFE
FIX ME IN FORTY-FIVE."
mmmmmmmmmmm. so wonderful.
partick is a god with his vocals on this record. range like no one expects, trust me.
their live performance has definitely improved, but it's still like seeing the same old fob.
joe, all open-mouthed and turning tromania style.
pete definitely was at least trying to jump off of as much as he could and he's refined his intro to the songs.
imaJEANAEtion was brought up pre 'Sugar...' but only as the girl from the east bay.
and he had us all put our ring fingers up again instead of middle fingers. it's sweet. :]
and during 'Arms Race' it was so amazing to look around and see everyone pouding their fists up in the sky hell of hard and screaming their lungs out.
seeing OCK's with their bracelets on and everything.
Pure and true and undying love.
my heart is still swollen.
the only drawback was tht there was a surprisingly large influx of drunks who were thrashing about and screaming completely wrong words into my ears. i mean, you know that "stuff the cashbox" commercial???? well it was THAT bad. and they would talk while PeterPumpkinEater was talking and i couldn't hear what he was saying at all. jenna wanted to sock a ho.
anyway, the night was wonderful and it was even more special that john came.
pictures next. shitty, blurry sk pics. mmmmmm i love my sk.
plus the two songs to DL that are on the new record that drops febraury 6th. go pick it up foolssssssss.
