things have a tendency to escalate a lot faster than we plan for them to.
i got everything i was supposed to get done this weekend done, but I haven't been keeping on schedule. I wouldn't feel so bad because I mean I have this weekend to work too- but it's supposed to be really nice out, and also I have to go to Lake Orion because it is Easter. also I don't get to hang out with anybody ever and I want to see people.
I've been eating ice cream nonstop for like three days and i have the worst stomachache today. it finally caught up to me. So I guess if I get all of my reading for the week done tonight, then I shouldn't be too behind for the weekend, and can letterpress on Thursday and/or Friday (although I was supposed to do it yesterday and today), finish my website on Thursday morning, etc. etc. I guess I have most of Monday and Tuesday to work too, and I should be able to catch up by the 14th of April, meaning I will still have time for other projects before graduation.
things have been surprisingly beautiful the past couple of days. maybe because i'm not stressed out out of my mind, maybe because i'm actually getting work done for once, or maybe because of the prospect of 80 degree weather. I've been working and I'm almost done, and I'm planning for the summer. Always planning, things don't always work out. I shaved my legs today for the first time in like three weeks, and I feel really liberated. I don't understand how women could want to not shave their legs, it feels so much better this way. maybe i'm just conditioned like that you know, us western women.
I've been having a million issues with anxiety, and I'm starting to feel better. not all of the time. but at least it's not bad all of the time, right?
I don't know whether or not I should move back in with my parents, or try to get a house with Morgan and Raluca and Mark and Jessica. I mean, I could save a lot of money if I just lived with mom and dad, I mean, you get it. if we all get a house together in pontiac or ferndale, i shouldn't have to pay over $200 a month. either way i'm going to have to have a huge fucking yard sale at my parent's house so i can get rid of all of the shit that they still have in their basement from when steph and i were kids.
mike is moving to new york and it's going to be really weird to not have him around all the time. he's like one of the few people i can talk to as of late. i mean i'm really really happy for him, and i hope he's able to find a job and stay afloat. it's just weird to think that maybe today when morgan and him and i took a walk that that's the last time he's going to be living here and hanging out. like next time i see him, it will just be for a short visit.
spring mix cds and pictures from disposable cameras, driving in my car, rain and fog, and even sometimes sunshine, i smoke a pack a day again, sleep with my notebook in my bed next to me like it has your pulse, your erratic breathing, in case i remember things that i know i won't want to forget. xtc and that van morrison/dylan bootleg dan gave me, and edward sharpe really loud in the car with morgan, el nibble nook and spending all of my quarters so we could have serious talks while we were wearing fake mustaches. it's warm enough to sleep with the window open tonight. thinking about everything and anything and not being able to breathe sometimes. it's all happening so fast, you know?
oh, and i hope the moon stays full, too.
it chases the sun, just like you said.
