The Audiophiles debuted eight new songs tonight at Bottom of The Hill in San Francisco. Great new stuff! The (sparse) crowd was actually listening to them, unusual with a 21+ bar crowd. Really good response to the new material. My camera batteries died after just the first two tunes, so I didn't get the new stuff recorded.

I hate driving any traffic to their site but they are worthy of this competition.

The Audiophiles were the second band on a bill at a dive called the Time Out in Concord tonight. The opening act was supposed to be ROBUSTO at 10:00pm , followed by the Audiophiles at 11:00 and the headline act G-9 after that.

The  trip to the recording studio was quite a thrill for the Audiophiles. Recording that day was Joe Satriani in one studio, and Journey in the other ... Zak came home a bit star-struck. Apparently a group has put together a non-profit to support young musicians ... they raise money through donations and then underwrite recording costs for talented ( Read more... )
