(no subject)
So I talk to Merritt on the phone like everyday. Shes like my bff who lives in Douglasville and I NEVER get to see her because she goes to UGA and all that good stuff. But anyways she didn't call me last night which was strange and I called her to wish her Happy New Year but she didnt pick up. I finally got to talk to her today and the reason she didnt pick up was because she was at the hospital. Last night she was at the peach drop with two of her friends and one of their mothers and around 10 pm she felt a really sharp pain in her shin. She looked down and there was a hole in her jeans and in her leg. They really didnt know what happened but they got her to the hospital and discovered that she had actually been shot and there was a bullet inside her leg. She told me this and I just cried. They dont know how it happened. They didnt even hear a gunshot. The police think it might have been some sort of accident where someone shot a gun into the air and somehow it went into her leg.. I dunno. Even though this upsets me terrible Im just so glad shes okay.
