The Mystery of the Missing Arashi Photo Cards
After calling Kino up 3 times, they finally had a confirmed date of arrival for Feb 2010's issue of Popolo. Yes, the one with the special 50 photo cards as advertised on CDJapan. So I went happily down to Kino today to grab the magazine and promptly proceed to open and flip through while waiting for my congee to arrive. But...where the heck is the promised 50 special photos of Arashi?! After some discussion with Hui Ling and a sudden ingenuity on my part, I finally solved the mystery of the missing Arashi photo cards. But first, let's take a look at the magazine! I apologize for the lousy photos.

Yes, this is the promised 50 (changed to 56 but is actually 52, yes I counted) photo cards of Arashi. You can cut them out if you like.
These are printed on stiffer cardboard like paper with some dotted lines if you want to cut them out. I was expecting something really good like a stack of photo cards you know but apparently this is it. I feel a little cheated but I guess this is the reason why I prefer the other JE magazines over Popolo.
But not all is lost. There's way more Arashi pages than normal in the magazine. There's a few interviews, information on their drama special, Disney event, AU phone Q&A, Yamapi etc. I hope the CUT issue with Arashi will be kickass like all the past issues with Arashi members. ^^
So, the question is "To buy or not to buy?".
