Finally I can bake!

Nov 15, 2009 01:14

I've been itching to cook or bake something new but with exams and all, that just wasn't going to happen. Well, yesterday was my second last paper and always after the second last paper, I'll already be in holiday mood. So finally, with just one last paper to go, I can relax and cook or bake!

So I decided to bake thyme crackers today. Good thing Fayth was planning on going Coles so I could hitch a ride from her. Since she drives, me and Magdeline did our major shopping. She stocked up on 4 boxes of tissue paper (yes, she drinks tissue paper XD) while I stocked up on Pokka green tea. :P I think I do not have an affinity with fresh thyme in Coles. The first time I went there with the sole purpose of buying fresh thyme, they had every herb except thyme! And today which is the second time, they ran out of thyme too. The fruit and vegetable store opposite Coles saved the day otherwise I would have to make these crackers with dried thyme. Anyway, the thyme crackers are yummy and addictive! They're really easy to make too. I've posted the recipe with some improvisation and tips at arashi_ryouri here if anyone wants to try it too. Maybe I should give these crackers for Christmas instead of the usual cookies since they're healthier and something different.

I've listened to the tracks on the regular edition of Yamapi's single now. Among the 3 songs not on the LEs, I like After the Rain the most. The other two songs are ok after listening to them a few more times but not outstanding for me. Personally, I think it's not a strong regular edition. Hmm have I even approved of any single's regular edition as being good? *looks at iTunes* I think truth/Kaze no Mukou e counts since I grew to love Smile after watching the AAA 2008 in Tokyo DVD. Happiness too since I LOVE Still... a lot. I think a few of Big Bang's mini-albums count too. I can't wait to listen and watch the making clip when my order finally arrives on 23rd Nov. You can bet I'll wake up early to be sure to catch the person delivering it.

I'm so sad the only auction for Ayaka's Sing to the Sky concert pamphlet on Yahoo Auctions Japan had a bid and ended today. It had been listed for a really long time so I thought it would be alright to wait and buy it later. Lesson learnt. I've decided to ask in the main community and forum topic in jpopmusic if anyone is willing to sell me the pamphlet. I don't want to have any more regrets.

want to buy, ayaka, cooking, yamapi
