So I finally got my wish. NEWS is getting a bonus DVD with their upcoming single. Of course I'm buying it. Just need to wait for HMV to have it up for pre-order. I really need to get a job next semester because I want to buy Arashi's AAA 2008 DVD (unless the contents is really boring), Time DVD (Aiba's Friendship perf. Nuff said.) and NEWS Diamond

I wonder WHY are there SO MANY JE releases on the same day?! Isn't that, clashing with each other?! They will end up competiting and.. and.. kattun will win -.-

clashing? yes and no..
they won't be competing each other on the rankings b/c the releases belong to separate categories: NEWS-Single vs. KAT-TUN-Album vs. HSJ-DVD

the clashing would happen inside fangirls' hearts/minds, to those that like at least 2 out of 3 of these groups... it'd be hard to get all the copies 'cause it is a lot for one day/week.

If I were staying in Japan, I would just pre-order the LEs on HMV Japan cuz they provide free shipping within Japan. Might as well take advantage of that and feel relieved that you will get those LEs. :P

SO TRUE! Even if there were HSJ fans who used to get news's stuff (or whichever combinations XD) some would have to hold back, as it's tough on our pockets too ;(

Worst case scenario. What if horrors of horrors they don't release a concert DVD for Diamond Con? Then this single will be more precious and since it's a LE, it's going to be impossible to buy it first hand and people will be sure to jack up the price for it if you want to buy them second hand. Hence, I decided to buy it. Just in case. (^^;)

so those are the wine glasses.. pretty~~ I've been wanting to see a pic of them. I almost participated in the drawing for them.. (from the radio show of a pretty famous MC here ^^). I'm thinking of participating when Koi no ABO's promotional item is up :)

You should participate! I never knew such rare promo items existed. Though there isn't a point in collecting them by paying crazy money. Takes away the joy of owning it since it's winning them that makes you feel happy and lucky. :P

Koi ABO sales might not be that high because there are many multi-JE goups fans who will have to pick and choose which release they rather spend their money on that day. Also, the majority of sales are through Japanese fans, so we don't really know if it'll be a strong single for NEWS. But OMG, I hope sales go past 200k for first week, and I don't mean barely passing it, but at least around 250k.

As for Yamapi, I think he knows it's inevitable to lose and gain fans. But it doesn't erase the sadness that fans who supported them from their debut are no longer with them. Especially those fans from debut, who had to suffered through NEWS problems and suspension. I think those are the die-hard NEWS fans who have proven their devotion, and I think Yamapi holds them closer to his heart.

I've been feeling down about NEWS so I've been having negative thoughts. Fandom isn't help any either.

I'm glad you're back to writing in lj though. Your entries always make sense =)

Aww thanks! I feel better now. I always thought I'm just rambling in my own LJ. I'm glad some of them make sense to ya. :D

I agree with ya about those die-hard NEWS fans. I think NEWS fans have been the most tested ones with the suspension and lack of things like variety shows to promote them. I salute those who are still around from the time they debuted.

I think a lot of NEWS fans save for the newbies are feeling a bit down in regards to NEWS. Cheer up though! Hopefully 2009 will be a better year. :)
