just woke up. had a really weird dream, that I have to write down or else I'm gonna lose it, and i can't be having that:

So there's this sorceress. She has become lost in the depths of space. She's blue. her skin is blue, dark blue, and she wears light blue robes, with all sorts of exciting gold accoutraments.
She is riding a small boat that is propelling itself along the great seas of this one planet, and it is night, but just after twilight. she comes to a shore, and just beyond the shore is a great stone city.
It has monoliths and pyramids, all hewn of great stone slabs, and assembled over millennia. she has come to this place seeking a way home.
As she enters the city, the sky gets darker. she comes to a great central building, with giant stone statues all around it. As she reaches it, she hears death approaching.
From the depths of the city, giant warriors rush toward her, huge, dark, and with the heads of jackals. they flow like a malevolent wind the the streets, and she knows they mean to kill her.
She wields her magic, and brings the stone statues to life, and a great battle ensues. it rages back and forth, but becomes quickly apparent that the evil destroyers are going to win. The sorceress kneels, and looks to the sky, and prays.
The goddess whom she had been seeking to guide her path home hears her prayers, and answers. The sorceress sees, just as the jackal headed swarm of evil is upon her, a bright beam of blue light descend from the sky. it is thin, and round, and it hits the first dark warrior right on the top of his head. it goes completely through him, and he halts, transfixed to the spot. the rest stop as well, and watch to see what will happen. the beam widens to engulf him totally, turning a deeper purer blue than could ever be seen outside of a dream, and a sound like a chime tolls, clear and beautiful, and louder than imagining.
The horde scatters, for they know their doom has come. the sky, now dark and clouded, erupts in these beams of light, and the sound abounds, like a symphony of great bells, the sound getting thicker and thicker until finally, surrounded by blue light, the sorceress understands.
The cacophony of brilliant incandescent salvation from the sky is a song the goddess is singing, telling her that she is one of the goddess' own, that she was saved for this reason, and telling the sorceress, in clear beautiful irridescent blue, how to get home. The sorceress thanks the goddess, and as the pillars of bright, shining, cerulean deliverance fade, the sorceress turns, and continues her journey home.

well, damn. let's see freud make head or tails of that, then.
