So my blogings have become monthly, but thats okay.
Since the last time i wrote i've gone to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville. I've really enjoyed going to the away games since working in the skyboxes doesn't allow me ample time to watch all of the game. Even though we lost it was still a lot of fun. Florida has a great campus (and huge too, more than 50,000 students) i think i might like to go there in another life. Tennesse's stadium was massive, of course, but not as nice as ours :) I wasn't really a big fan of their campus but the bar scene on the other hand was great! We went to this one bar called The Cube and it had this gigantic screen on the wall that played the music videos to all the songs.
Alabama had it's first ever fall break last week. And we made good use of our time going to Atlanta to visit kathleen's brother who goes to Georgia Tech. We went to the Plaka to eat and latter actually went into GT's stadium because someone left the gate unlocked. Once we were in and tried to leave, someone had locked it. The 5 of us had to climb a fence and shimmy down this concrete wall that was over 10ft in the air and get to the end where we had to jump off. Next day we went to Lennox Square and the new georgia aquarium which was really cool, made me want a sea otter.
This past weekend we had homecoming and participated in many of those activities as well as went to see Saw III. Extremely gory, i thought the first two were pretty rough, but i found myself putting my head in my jacket and not even watching the last scene it was so horrible. Maybe i'll try again when it comes out on dvd. Last night was the best of all. We went to a halloween party where i dressed up as Flavor Flav and my friend cassie dressed up as deelishis. We all had a great time, and once we left the house party we went to the bars (in costume)to drink a bit more. I think everyone on the strip and in the bars liked our costumes. Everywhere we went people were yelling "Flaaavoor Flaaavv!" We'll definately be dressing up again on tuesday for actual Halloween. Peace
