so this thing still works?!?!?!?!?

wow ! i can't believe that this account is still out there and working. i apparently haven't been on this site in over two years. one would think that my account would (or should) have been deleted by now. but apparently the gods are working in my favor and this is still up and running.

let's see, i guess a lot has happened over the past two years. well for starters i no longer live in the swanky condo in Wauwatosa, WI. i moved out of there in October of 2005 and moved in with my boyfriend Tim on the Fashionable East Side of Milwaukee, WI. we lived a happy and comfortable life in a small two bedroom attic apartment for almost two years until the building was sold to another company and the new owners decided to jack up our rent by more than $230. my boyfriend and i now live on the South Side of Milwaukee, WI in a slightly bigger, ground floor, two bedroom apartment. as i am typing all this out i still have a number of boxes to unpack and pictures to hang up, but that will all be done in due time.

now i know there are some of you out there who are shocked to hear that i actually have a boyfriend, let alone have been with him for the past 2 years. well it's true! i met Tim, oddly enough, at kareoke one week and the rest, as they say, is history. we met in July of 2005 and hit it off right away. we spent more than 2 hours the night we met just sitting and talking about everything under the sun. after about a week of me pestering him about when i would see him again, we "officially" decided that we were dating. we did that for about 6 or 8 weeks before we decided that it was more than dating and we became "boyfriends". i moved in with him the end of October 2005 becuz he's idiot roomate had lost his job and couldn't keep up with his half of the bills. now my reasoning for moving in with Tim were not only becuz we had a relationship, but becuz we had spent time building up a friendship and i didn't want to see my friend loose his apartment becuz he picked a rotten roomate.

needless to say, when i moved in things started getting more serious. we celebrated first our one year anniversary and then our two year. (this was a personal record for me since the longest relationship i had had previous to this lasted all of 11 months) a month before we hit the 2 year mark (July of 2007) we decided that we wanted to do a commitment ceremony at the local Pride celebration. well that went off without a hitch and as far as the two of us are concerned that's what we are now, hitched. of course we are still planning another ceremony for the near future where we can have our families involved as well, but we took this first step for us.

of course, as most couples will agree, there are times when we have our petty arguments but all-in-all things are great for the two of us. i hope this has brought most of you up to speed, if you have any other questions feel free to ask. i'm always willing to help clarify things for you.

Keep In Touch!
