Free Will?

What force decides where we go in this life? Who decides who we meet and when we meet them? We all change, thats what we do. We are creatures of change, even though we are afraid of change. I am not the person that I was ten years ago. I will not be the same person in ten years. (I think I will change less though, the whole growing into adulthood thing changes you faster) I have friends that I have had for Ten years. They are not the same, but I think we have changed in similar ways. Other that I have lost contact with, maybe we have changed in different ways. People I have met in the last year that I have become to know, they like the me now. Would they have liked the me then? Would I have like the person they were? I don't know, but it makes you wonder. Were we meant to meet at the point were we had changed into people that are similar? Or is is all a Crap Shoot?

I believe in God. Whatever you want to call it. God, Goddess, Zeus, Shiva... whatever. The being that made the universe. Does this being choose our paths or does it even care? Does it set us on a series of paths and watch which paths we choose or does it know that we will take a set path and just gives us the illusion of free will.

If you meet a friend that you can feel a conncetion with, one were you can think the same thing at the same time. One were you awnser the phone before it rings (that is weird let me tell you) one were you feel like you are siblings, was that random. Are you lucky that you met them, or does this power know that you will need each other on your travels.

What if I could have used that friend before I met them... was there a reason why I didnt meet them. Were we not changed into the right people? Would we have not got along as well? Or was it just random?

Damn Free Will/ Divine Will debate....

I just think that of all the people in the world how likely is it that you can find so many best friends?
