I'm working at 2 places now. One is Kyun, the giftshop, and the other... Hertz Car Rental, which is at the San Francisco Int'l Airport. Now, as much as I like cars, driving them for a living is crazy. "Why?" You ask? Well... for one thing, I get to drive real expensive cars. Yes, it's great... but what happens if you accidentally damage it? O.o I almost ended up driving one of the more expensive ones, a 2003 Jaguar XK. I backed out because I had no idea whether I would be able to handle it or not. It was also my first day at work, so my coworker took it. I took a not so good looking Cadillac instead. The car had a good feel to it, however... It was HUGE! Anyway, after we parked the cars, I asked my coworker (we started working the same day) how it felt. He said, "Damn! That thing didn't have powersteering! It was hard to park!" By the way, when we take clean cars from the cleaning guys, we have to park them facing out. That means we will get LOTS and LOTS of practice with backing into stalls to park. Oh, I almost drove a hummer too. H2, to be exact. I didn't drive it though, since we have to take cars by lines. The H2 was on the next line over, and another group got that line. So yeah, all in all, driving cool cars is wicked fun, but doing it for a living while some rich folks yell at you if you get it damaged (and maybe even fire you right there depending on which and how many cars you happen to damage)... I don't think it's that worth it. I do like the fact that I get to drive nice cars, but I don't feel I belong there. I'll have to keep searching for the right job for me. Wow this is freaking long... So uh... Jaa ne minna.
