I got into an accident on the job at Hertz on 3rd of February, 2006. It was around 15:30-35, almost time to go home... I was soooo tired I couldn't think of anything but going home... well, actually I was gonna spend the rest of the afternoon with "her." Anyway, that's not the point. I was unfortunate enough to get a bigger sized car, a 4x4, I believe. It was a Ford... something... I can't remember. All I know is that it was really new. It had barely 1,000 miles on it. So here's what happened. First, we were to take diry cars to the QTA (the cleaning area, basically). One the way out, there was a Lincoln Zephyr parked kinda tilted... it was blocking a part of the only lane that was open, the lane right next to the wall. So, the smaller cars got through fine. My turn... I had to avoid 3 obstacles before clearing the way and going on home. I managed to clear the Lincoln, the pillar in front of me... but I failed to see that the sign (that tells you which stalls were in the aisle). The stupid sign was like... bulging out of the wall about half a foot out... whoever designed this thing was STUPID!

The thing is KINDA like that. Anyway, the car's big butt hit the sign at the X spot... approximately... kinda. It made a HUGE dent to the back side near the window. I had to stay there for some time while the manager filed a report. He kept messing up, so I had to stay there like 15 minutes after I was supposed to be off work. Well, needless to say, I missed my ride to the parking lot. So I called Tam-chan and told her about my little incident and that I may not be able to see her that day. She was making fun of me at first, then she went on to say I really should get a different job (which was true... this job has GOT to be THE MOST BORING job I've ever been in). Well, I was hoping to see her that day... I asked her if she was doing anything. Then she told me that her sister's birthday was coming up, so she would go shopping. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to go with her. And so I ended my evening with her at the mall... a nice uplifting experience after my accident. As she jokingly says to me from time to time, "what would you do without me?" Honestly, though, I don't know what I would do without her.
