Slaughterhouse Five: Or the Children's Crusade, A Duty-Dance with Death by Kurt Vonnegut. I've read this book at least four times.
On the Road by Jack Kerouac. This was the first book I had to read very criticaly (Jr. research paper in HS.) It taught me how to be a critical reader.
