A eulogy (for the movie awards, not for Reagan or Ray Charles)

I sat through the whole thing. It was terrible. It was like a 2nd rate high school production where no one exactly knew what was going on. And the presenters all kept stalling with weird silences and attempts at small talk. I'm pretty sure they were just making up for Lindsey Lohan rushing through all of her lines like a 7 year old in a Christmas pageant. Maybe they'll institute a host age requirement now. MTV, I hope you've learned your lesson.

Ah, I long for the good old days when the MTVMA's were quality TV. Tonight was like running into your formerly pretty friend from school who, after giving birth to 3 kids, just has nothing more to give and looks like hell. Farewell era of good MTV awards shows...I will miss you.
