Time Flies
Wow it's been a while.
I guess I'm going to have to provide something of a recap of the last what... year and a half or so? I don't think I have the time to do that now. But I am excited to get back into this again if only to work on my writing abilities, which seem to be lacking as of late.
I'll probably have to reopen my writer's guide that I acquired in my Humanities class back in Summer 2000. Someone my age and hence someone with this much experience with the English language shouldn't be so poor at composing strings of words with proper grammar and punctuation. Something within me is urging me to get this practice in. I'm not sure what it is. My instincts haven't failed me much, so I'm going to listen and comply the best I can.
What I can update is that I'm now back in Winnipeg, starting a PhD in September, and working as a network manager for a research network here at the University of Manitoba. AND the man who was with me when I got the image of Janus branded on my body, the man who I've known for the last 8 years, and the man who I've finally figured out is more important than distance, is finally my man.
