Somedays it gets so foggy here overnight. On those days it's hard to see more than fifteen feet in front of you, and the redwood mountain behind the street I live on disappears. Today was one of those days, and the fog was so dense today that I could barely make out the posts of the street lamps that I walked under. I was surprised that drivers could even make out stop light colors - I know I barely could. Out of this obscurity, a matted-hair terrier came charging up to me as I was walking to the bus stop. It nearly gave me a heart attack, but I soon found out that all it wanted to do was sniff my shoe and continue on its wild running way.
