Jacque's Update...
I suppose it's that time again. Yes; I should update my journal. (I'm horrible at that... really I am!)
What's happened in my life lately?
We've driven 78,000 miles since January and our truck will turn over 400,000 miles today! (Not bad for a 2005...) Although I've still only met one UW/OLU friend the entire time :( (Lissy from UW/OLU) But I fully plan on expanding that number!! (I should make a list of where everyone lives *lol* )
We bought a new(er) car. We bought a VW Jetta... and I love it!! (Although I've only driven it two times...)
We kicked out our renters; when we went home to find six months of trash sitting on our front lawn they were out immediately. Our new renter cleaned up their mess and has made some other home improvements! So they're getting a few months free rent.
Ryan's grandma is getting worse and worse. Last week she broke her Pelvis. She's all but given up on life; which breaks my heart because she is the most amazing woman. Although, I hate to say it. I wish she'd just go. She's in so much pain, and the rest of the family is suffering watching her.
My dad is doing well. He had a thyroid cancer scare; but it wasn't cancer and they did radiation to kill it off. But he's gained a TON of weight and looks like the Michilen Tire man now :( Poor guy went from thinking he was perfectly healthy 2 years ago to having all these problems.
Meg inspired me to write a novel! So I'm working on a novel in my month off from school!! So far,it's going well! (Although I doubt I'd ever let ANYONE read it... *lol*
I've lost 27 pounds! Not bad for taking two entire months off...
We're taking tonight off in Phoenix! We're going to go out to dinner and have a few beers; then hit a mall and a movie tomorrow! (I'm in desperate need of time AWAY from the truck!)
Well, that's my life in a nutshell... (I feel like I just wrote one of those annoying christmas letters... perhaps I should include a cheesy family photo? Yes! I shall!)
