The Fiery Furnaces - Blueberry Boat
TV on the Radio - Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes
!!! - Louden Up Now
The Arcade Fire - Funeral
MF Doom - Mm Food
Modest Mouse - Good News for People who Love Bad News
Modest Mouse - Baron Von Bullshit Rides Again
Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
Wilco - A Ghost is Born
Bjork - Medulla

In terms of your list...

I agree with almost everything you have up there, which isn't too surprising considering we have similar taste in music. I have to disagree with the Jimmy Eat World cd though. Their new album was rather disappointing. It sounds like they tried to inject their music with a bit of heavier rock and it instead came out sounding more like generic rock. I downloaded it a few months ago and gave it a couple of listens and couldn't find one track that stood out. I can't stand that song and video for "Pain" either.

I haven't yet heard the new Ted Leo cd, but I know that Rico said it is pretty damn good. I will have to get a copy of that from you.

I have never heard of AMerican Music CLub. I may have to get a copy of that as well.

see you on the 16th

I forgot about Iron and Wine. I love that cd and actually got to see him live right around the time it came out. I can't stand the Kanye West cd though, or him as a person for that matter. Anyone that throws a temper tantrum over not winning a grammy has got some issues. If you want real rap, throw in some MF Doom. (or project pat) haha

I was going to put smile, but that has been around for a few years. I guess it is officially out now though. Is the official release any different than the other one?
