i'm still awake.

i was trying to learn how to play "only hope" by switchfoot on the guitar, and i just remembered how meaningful the lyrics are. this song has most likely been played hundreds of times on my computer, but this was probably the second or third time i've actually thought about the lyrics. it's odd, because i usually listen to the lyrics when i listen to music.
