Week 12.6 Maryland - Dating and Parties
The Marylands are our third American family. It consists of:
Liz Maryland, Fortune/Family elder, LTW to earn 100.000§. She is unemployed and owns Maryland Garden Supplies, which is a nursery and landscaping business obviously. It has reached a level of 8.
Julianne Maryland, Pleasure adult, LTW to have 50 dream dates. She works at Ekte Norsk, Magnus Norman’s shop as a manager.
The lot value here is 101.008 § and the weekly tax will be 10.101§.
Julianne, the dating machine wants to settle down and marry Noah Colorado.
”Noah, will you marry me?”
It’s a dreamdate but Julianne gets a bad memory from the engagement. Strange, she’s a Pleasure sim, not Romance
A wedding party is arranged immediately
Noah realizes that Julianne is rich.
Cake is served. Interesting that Noah's and Julianne's random formal wear matches each other. Leopard is the thing for Pleasurers!
Ludde, Julianne’s father catches the attention of the crowd, even though he behaves for once
Noah is from the Colorado family, as so many other Birkonians. He’s got two sisters and seven (!) brothers.
Julianne’s family is very much smaller. She’s only got one sister, Kaylynn. Her father Ludde was adopted by the Birka founder Maria Stolt and her partner Margareta.
Julianne is apparently pregnant - she was never sick once, so we haven’t noticed until now.
The Pleasure couple continues to date throughout her pregnancy. His brother Melvin comes by during one of the dates. He’s not overly happy with their union, he has had a relationship with Julianne too.
Liz gets her part of dating, too. Jonas is her highest match.
They met recently, so this was actually their first woohoo. It's easy to understand that Liz wants to take it easy, her married life was not very easy.
Julianne has enough aspiration points to become half a Popularity sim. We’ll see a lot of parties in between the dates in the future I guess
Spring arrives with even more dating wishes
Giving birth during a party is not good for the party score - it becomes lame
It’s twin boys, born on Thursday week 12. They look exactly alike with brown hair from their mother and brown eyes from their father. They get the names Robert and Stephen
Julianne gets demoted from a bad chance card. Didn't know it was even possible to get demoted from a player owned business!
Noah has better luck and gets promoted to Restauranteur
Liz goes to her landscaping business once in a while, and today it reached level 9!
The dating continues - karaoke is a favourite during Noah and Julianne’s dates.
And another party - for the boys’ birthday. Ludde and Kaylynn are here, and also Noah’s brother Rasmus
Noah chooses a secondary aspiration of Romance - even more dating and woohoo ahead!

To end off the week, Liz gets the chance to see Jonas again. She even rolls a brief wish to marry him. However, it didn’t stick, and she’s so close to the end of her life, so it’s no use.
It has been terrible weather all week - massive amounts of snow during the winter and heavy rains and thunder storms during spring. It's a wonder no one got killed.
