I love how each generation defines its own slang patois.
My generation said things were "cool".
Teenagers today use the word "swag" for cool.
My parents' generation said "nifty, and keen, and coolio".
And my grandmother probably said that things were "the bee's knees".
All to say something is well, cool, nifty, swag, the bee's knees!I just think it's neat that when I'm reading on reddit and other boards, I can tell roughly what age group a commenter is in based on any slang they use.
Slang is very generational, and it's really awesome.
