monday morning

it's been an up and down weekend... :P
friday night just chilled..and watched a DVD...
saturday woke up, made brunch, got dressed and headed out to some wack workshop that I had to attend for work. It wasn't so bad though, actually it was kind of interesting.. it's always good to get educated right?
Anyways, the workshop ended early, so i had some time to kill before meeting my buddies. The workshop was near Yangjae station not too far from Kangnam station, so I got on the bus instead of taking the subway, because well... I never take the bus and i'm always travelling underground.. figure i'd just take the bus... got off at Kangnam, and strolled around :) more christmas cards!!! I went to Artbox, and picked up more christmas cards.. Koreans and their cute stationary... they LOVE pop ups.. every second card is a pop up .. super cute :) ^_^ After picking up some cards, I checked my watch - yup just in time... I strolled on over to Cinnebon, and there they were... :) ^_^ So we walked up to the stylist...J and I were going to get our hair done.. FINALLY :P just got my hair feathered, and layered some more... needed a new cut... then we went hunting for sam geh tang hehehe.. this korean chicken soup usually eaten in the summer.. but my girlfriend had been craving it...and so we all decided on it, but dammit we couldn't find anywhere in kangnam that was serving it >:P so we opted for dalk galbi again!!! :) can never go wrong with that ^_^
walking around you see all kinds of foreign cars in Kangnam.. and thought this was interesting.. as i rarely see a VW in Korea.. many many clks, a few slks, and tons of 7 series, 5 and 3 series Beamers.. anyway..
after dinner we dropped by the boardgame cafe.. hahah... i love korea for the many different kinds of cafes they have here.... you name it, they have it.. :) they're all about group activities and fun... :)
call me a kid again, i don't care.. i had some fun times saturday night... all without the help of alcohal... :)
truthfully.. i'm glad kev and i have done without much alcohal ... here in korea.. i am not a big drinker period... my take on regular drinkers is... do what you want but why pay money to kill your own brain cells? :P occasional is OK....
.......................................... saturday earlier in the day.. Kev got his new schedule.. for work and boy is it ever crappy... it's totally taking a toll on his body and mind... Can you say W------I-----D-----E split :(
Poor guy... :( soon babe.. soon things will change.. and we'll have fun in other parts of the world... :)
Kev made sushi at home the other day :) ^_^ mMMmmmMmmm yummy

Sunday... got to go to the bookstore to pick up this month's issues of NONON :) JAPANESE MAGZ:) and walked around my neck of the woods... found an airport limousine stop near by ... wonder if there's another one even closer??

so it's 9:00am... i woke up, saw kevin off... at 6:15am.. yup SIX FIFTEEN AM!!!! :( and i've been up ever since..
logged on to msn, and :) sure enough there she was ^_^ ... what a great start to a long week... talking to her brightens my mornings :) hehehe..thanks for being there...you're so far away but :) it's like you're right here beside me cuz you've walked me through so much!! ------
i guess i should finish sippin up this cappucino and get off my butt... i think i'll do some reading today.. :) and fold the laundry... head out and try to find the airport limousine stop near by ... and get lunch ready since kev comes home this month for lunch :) not to mention prep for work :P
*sigh* ........ DECEMBER ... better be worth it....
