So, I really enjoyed today and I'm in a chipper mood LOL
And of this moment my roomate is taking a picture of me "working" hahahha.
OMG I spent $200 today on chemistry package with textbook and online homework called OWL (lol Harry Potter!) and a book/reader for my ethnicity, gender, etc issues in dance 52AC class. That class was interesting because last week we had to analyze my senior ball and we kind of uncovered social issues and kind of like a hierarchy in high school in terms of popularity and social standing, or if you got asked by a guy or not. It was very enjoyable. Right now I'm listening to chinese music from a random website and Esther Pai and I just camwhored LOL. I took the first picture of me and her today hahhahah after like a week of living together.
So today class started 9 am until 11, then 1 to 3. Math discussion was more interesting because the GSI, Hwajoong Yoo, had us divide into groups of 4 and do problems on the chalkboard. Yuck I really dislike writing with chalk because it's so hard and awkward. I'm not used to it. Then in nutri sci the professor showed a video about eating with your eyes or stomach, like gauging how much you eat.
Then afterwards I went to buy books and spent $200 :( :( :( Then I came back to my dorm and did homework, read 52AC, slept a little, then woke up and went to eat dinner. Oh yeah I went back this weekend and ate good food, went to the gym-marvelous CLUBSPORT :) --and went swimming! Gosh, I kinda do like being so close to home. And I'm going home this week for Labor Day. And I have a quiz this Wednesday for math that I should be studying for right now. But I'm just in a super good mood! Right now I'm aim-webcamming with David Yang, who is my cross-coast friend whom I've never met before LOL he's a stranger!!!!!!!!! stranger danger! ROFL
So during dinner I sat with Ellen and Kelly, senior friends in act2fellowship, and Esther and Brent. Brent is quite chill and nice and good to get along with. Ellen and Kelly are enjoyable people to be around because they tell good stories and I found out there are yoga, kickboxing, dance, and other classes in the local Rec Gym called RSF!!!!!!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYAYAYYAYAYAYYAYAYYAYAYYAA :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I can kind of relive Clubsport, but without the nice locker rooms and showers etc. Ellen and Kelly told a story of their past class, a Indonesian orchestra class where the teacher is totally laid back and can change an A- into an A if you ask LOLLLLL I want to take that class! We stayed quite a while talking after finishing eating. I didnt eat that much today cuz not that good. There was "curry" shrimp with peas and green stuff. The shrimp were good, but the green stuff--not good. There was red velvet cake, but it just tasted like cake with red food coloring. Ms.Waller in high school during Great Expectations told us about the deliciousness of red velvet cake and upside down cake when we had our Elizabethan Tea Party. I made cucumber and butter finger sandwiches, which were hastily concocted the previous day at 12 am LOL. But they tasted quite scrumptious :)
After dinner I wanted to climb stairs to 8th floor to exercise, but I stopped by on 3rd floor because there was so much commotion there. And I saw a sign for FREE microwave!!!!!!!! LOLL Esther and I need a microwave and we ordered a fridge a week earlier, but it still hasnt come yet! :( :( >:( But I first went to the lounge and saw unexpectedly some old people from church! We talked and I asked about the microwave, and the owner said between him and his roommate they already had 2, so this was an extra. So his roommate, a big white guy, lugged it to my room and I proudly displayed our new microwave on the floor LOLLLLL. I tried microwaving food, salmon rice and string beans that my mom gave me as a meal, for a minute and it did get hot, so the microwave is sound!! YAY
Then these 2 random guys knocked on our door and said they wanted to meet everyone on this floor, which was random. And I saw Alex, the guy who climbed Mt. Kilamonjaro last summer! COMPLETELY COOL :D ;) He was wearing the AE shirt that I had for buying jeans and we went to his room, saw his roommate named Jeffrey Wong, whom I've seen before but just dont remember the name, and talked a while. His birhtday was like a couple days ago and we surprised him in the laundry room lol and he still had brownies in his fridge. Those were good but fatty. OH! And Jeffrey was eating longyan! OMG He's from SF and his mom brings him dim sum and other food! WOW and he has fridge and microwave lol. Gah, the plugging in stuff in really annoying -_____- cuz not enough outlets! Then microwave is going to come, and we have to figure out where to put it in this little dorm room :/
Oh yeah! Today is the first day of September, so I need to wear something new today :) Hopefully this month will be fantastic in terms of making new friends, finding a group of friends to hang with and remain friends with throughout college, get good grades on exams including quizzes, and have fun. Oh yeah and pass citizenship test. Yuppers! Today I also ate two pluots, grapes, and a big white peach :9 Dude, eating healthy makes me sanguineeeeeeeeeee (I love that word). Oh I'm being such a freaky weirdo right now that I'll go to sleep and stop bothering livejournal.
Good night!
college,
happiness
